Sales Disciplinary Monitoring and Work Productivity Using GPS Technology

The primary objective of our research project was to participate in the Student Creativity Program organized by the Indonesia Directorate General of Higher Education. For our case study, we selected PT. Total Mitra Mandiri and focused on the challenge of monitoring salesmen in the field.

To address this problem, we developed a software application that utilizes Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to track and monitor the positioning of salesmen in real-time. Our solution not only provides accurate and reliable data on the location of salesmen, but it also allows managers to monitor their performance, optimize their routes, and ensure that they are meeting their targets.

Throughout the research process, we developed strong skills in problem-solving, data analysis, and software development. We also gained valuable experience in project management, as we worked collaboratively to plan and execute our research project within the parameters of the Student Creativity Program.

Overall, our research project was a rewarding opportunity to apply our knowledge and skills to a real-world problem, to contribute to the advancement of technology, and to participate in a prestigious program sponsored by the Indonesia Directorate General of Higher Education. We are proud of the work we accomplished and look forward to applying our learnings to future research endeavors.
