To address this problem, we developed a game that is adapted from Wayang stories, with the aim of engaging and educating younger generations about this cultural heritage. Our game not only provides entertainment, but it also serves as a tool for promoting the preservation and appreciation of Wayang and its stories.
Throughout the research process, we conducted extensive research on Wayang and its cultural significance, as well as on game development and design principles. We also collaborated closely with Sobokartti Art and Culture Community to ensure that our project aligned with their goals and needs.
As a result of our research, we gained valuable skills in project management, research, and game development. We also contributed to the preservation and promotion of Indonesian culture, and to the mission of the Student Creativity Program in supporting innovation and creativity among Indonesian students.
Overall, our research project was a rewarding opportunity to apply our knowledge and skills to a real-world problem, to contribute to the preservation of Indonesia’s cultural heritage, and to participate in a prestigious program sponsored by the Indonesia Directorate General of Higher Education. We are proud of the work we accomplished and look forward to applying our learnings to future research endeavors.
